Today, ROX develops and manufactures bespoke cases, bags and system solutions for a wide range of industries and professional applications. Core competencies include the development of customer-specific solutions, the processing of a wide variety of materials and modern manufacturing and finishing processes.

The range extends from luggage systems for motorcycles and the automotive sector to transport, protection and packaging solutions for industry, technology and specialised applications.

As a family business in its fourth generation, ROX combines traditional manufacturing expertise with modern production and service locations in Hofstetten, Bavaria. The focus is on the highest quality standards, innovative solutions and a dedicated team that pursues a customer-focused approach every day.

1890

Josef Hamann opened a leather goods shop in Munich’s Glockenbachviertel. The company early on specialised in robust leather clothing and functional transport solutions for Germany’s first motorcyclists and motorists. This laid the foundation for today’s expertise in high-quality protective and luggage solutions.

1947

With the launch of the ROX brand, a new chapter in the company's history begins. Thanks to bespoke multipurpose and camera cases, ROX establishes itself as a provider of high-quality and functional transport solutions for professional applications.

1975

ROX camera bags stand for quality, durability and functionality. To meet growing demand, the company invested early in modern industrial manufacturing processes and continuously expanded its production capabilities.

Today

Individual solutions for industry and commerce Today, ROX is a renowned manufacturer and project engineering partner for bespoke product manufacturing. The company develops, supports and manufactures solutions for DAX-listed companies, large enterprises and medium-sized customers in various countries – with a high degree of in-house manufacturing in Germany.

The company's headquarters are now in Hofstetten, near Landsberg am Lech. There, ROX combines leather, textile and plastics processing with technical and logistical services on a single site. The existing warehousing and logistics facilities also enable complex operations in storage, order picking and distribution.

From here ROX supplies domestic and international markets – key markets include, among others, the EU, the US, Canada, China and India. At the same time, the site remains a clear commitment to extensive in-house manufacturing and 'Made in Germany'. More

In its current corporate communications, certified quality, environmental and data-protection management, as well as ecological material cycles, are emphasised, among other things; in addition, ROX cites an on-site climate-neutral energy and heating supply.
